Parking is one of the most common questions at Ledgemere. In short: park in your own designated area, leave visitor spaces for visitors, use overflow only temporarily, and move your car for the plows.
Your designated parking
- Every home has a designated parking area near the unit, shown on the Board's Parking Plan, plus its garage if it has one.
- Residents park only in their own designated areas. You may park as many cars there as fit without blocking access to any unit.
- Owners may rent their designated space, or part of it, to another Ledgemere resident.
Visitor parking
- Visitor spaces are for non-residents only. Residents may not park in them.
- Cars must be moved out of visitor spaces for snow plowing.
- Violators may be warned, tagged, fined or towed without notice.
Overflow parking
- Overflow spaces may be used by residents and their guests temporarily, for no more than one week, when visitor spaces are full and the unit's own spaces are already occupied.
- If you need overflow parking for longer, contact management first to avoid fines or towing. Management may grant an exception.
- Overflow is not extra permanent parking. Moving a car from one overflow space to another counts as staying in the same space the whole time.
- You must move your car out of overflow parking for snow plowing without being asked.
- Violators may be warned, tagged, fined or towed without notice.
Vehicles that may not be parked on common areas
Only private passenger vehicles may be parked on Ledgemere's common areas. Unless it is in a garage or a specially designated area, the following may not be parked on site:
- Vehicles that are unregistered or have an expired inspection sticker
- Vehicles with commercial signage
- Boats and trailers
- Mobile homes, motor homes and campers
- Vehicles with commercial ladder racks or similar modifications
- Anything larger than a standard 10 ft × 20 ft parking space
- Tractor units and any other commercial vehicles
Service companies working at Ledgemere are an exception while they are on site.
Town roads and the winter parking ban
Mountain Gate Road, Meeting House Path and Leland Farm Road are public town roads, so Town of Ashland parking laws apply there.
Town of Ashland winter parking ban, November 1 through March 31: no parking on town roads overnight from 1 AM to 6 AM, and no parking at any time during a snowstorm.
Town roads are plowed by the Town. The sidewalks are also owned by the Town, which is responsible for plowing them. The association does not plow sidewalks, and the Town may not always get to them. For problems with town roads or unplowed sidewalks, call the Ashland Department of Public Works at 508-881-0120.
School bus stops: when dropping off or picking up children at the bus stop, please park on one side of the street only. Cars on both sides create a hazard for commuters.
Towing
Vehicles parked in violation of the parking rules may be towed at the owner's expense. This applies especially, but not only, to vehicles that:
- block other vehicles,
- are parked in fire lanes or block safety access, or
- are unregistered or abandoned.
The towing company's contact information is posted on signs throughout the property.
Register your vehicles with management so they can try to reach you before a tow. Fill out the census form on the Resident Portal (or download it as a fillable PDF), which includes your vehicle details, or call FirstService Residential 24/7 at 617-221-1000. You can also email Resident Support at residentsupport.ne@fsresidential.com.

The community parking map shows each building and the parking areas around it. Posted signs always govern.
