Pets are welcome at Ledgemere. Dogs, cats and other household pets may live in the homes, as long as they aren't kept or bred for business purposes.
Pet rules
- Leash or carry pets whenever they are on the common areas. Cats are the exception and may roam outside without a leash.
- Pick up after your pet, every time, and dispose of the waste properly.
- Pets may not be tied up outside, enclosed on decks, or left outside unattended.
- A pet that creates a nuisance, unreasonable noise or odor may have to be permanently removed after five days' written notice from the Board.
Pet waste affects everyone. Maintenance crews and vendors may refuse to work at a unit where pet droppings are a health or safety risk. Owners can be fined and charged for the cost.
Tips for good neighbors
- Barking travels through shared walls. Please be mindful, especially during quiet hours (11 PM–8 AM).
- Carry bags on every walk, and pick up on lawns and near walkways and entrances too.
- Keep dogs off garden beds and other residents' patios.
